General Membership Info
This category is for display manufacturers and developers who wish to participate in the USDC Technical Council and are U.S. based. General Members participate in the USDC technical program by identifying priority projects, approving RFPs, identifying useful study topics, and administering government funds for selected projects.
A site license to all USDC documentation is included at this membership level. General Members are not eligible to receive USDC funding for technical projects. General Members are represented on the Governing Board through election of one representative for each four General Members.
Membership fees for General Members are shown below and are collected annually on March 1st. This level of membership requires an in-kind contribution, phased in over a 3-year period. Typically in-kind requirements are met through participation on the Technical Council and evaluation of products or technology for USDC contracts that are of interest to the member company.
