Consortium Teams with Boxwood Technologies to Provide New Service
San Jose, Calif., October 2, 2006 -- The U.S. Display Consortium ( USDC), a public/private partnership chartered with developing the electronic display and flexible microelectronics industry infrastructure, today announced the launch of the USDC Career Center , an interactive, realtime, online job board. The USDC Career Center provides a site for instant relationship building between hiring companies and job seekers in the display and microelectronics industry.
USDC chose Boxwood Technologies for development of the career center due to Boxwood’s outstanding record in providing services to t rade associations and professional societies. Boxwood has designed centers for the American Society of Association Executives, the American Institute of Architects, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and dozens of other organizations.

For job seekers, the USDC Career Center is a free service that provides access to employers and career opportunities in the display & microelectronics industries. In addition to posting resumes, job seekers can browse and view available positions based on their own criteria and save those jobs for later review. Job seekers can also create a search agent to provide e-mail notifications of jobs that match their specific career interests
