USDC and Needham to Host Annual Investment Conference in New York

For the twelfth year in a row, USDC and Needham & Company are teaming up to educate the investment community on the latest advancements, trends and business strategies associated with the display industry.

The 2007 Displays & Emerging Electronics Investment Conference, which will be held in New York on Thursday, March 1 at the Millennium Broadway Hotel, will bring together many of the fastest growing companies dedicated to end-use display applications, as well as representatives from the extensive supply chain infrastructure behind these technologies—including organic and flexible displays, materials, manufacturing equipment and electronics companies.

An aggressive pace of innovation is being set in printed and organic electronics by a number of large industry corporations, including DuPont, Dow Corning, GE and Motorola, to develop products for a variety of near-term applications such as RFID tags, sensors, photovoltaics, electro-clothing and disposable electronics.

Participating companies scheduled thus far include Activision TV, Bright View, Cambridge Display Technology, DuPont, Fusion Optix, Genesis Microchip, Insight Media, Integral Vision, Kodak, Nuelight, Novalux, Orbotech, Photon Dynamics, Roam Consulting and Universal Display Corporation.
